Financial Technology (FinTech) has emerged as a transformative force in rural development by improving access to financial services, promoting financial inclusion, enhancing agricultural productivity, and supporting rural entrepreneurship. In India, initiatives such as digital payments, mobile banking, Aadhaar-enabled services, and Unified Payments Interface (UPI) have significantly reduced the gap between urban and rural financial access. FinTech empowers rural communities by providing affordable, accessible, and secure financial solutions. Despite challenges such as digital illiteracy, poor internet connectivity, and cyber security concerns, FinTech continues to play a crucial role in achieving inclusive and sustainable rural development.
