The increasing emphasis on sustainable business practices has encouraged organizations to integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into their long-term strategic objectives. At the same time, rapid advances in digital technologies have fundamentally reshaped business operations, decision-making processes, and value creation across industries. Within the automobile sector, digital transformation has emerged as a critical enabler of sustainable development by facilitating greater operational efficiency, resource optimization, transparency, and innovation. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and Financial Technology (FinTech) provide organizations with advanced capabilities to monitor environmental performance, strengthen governance mechanisms, improve stakeholder engagement, and support data-driven sustainability initiatives. This chapter investigates the relationship between digital transformation, ESG practices, and financial performance in the automobile industry by examining how technological innovation enhances corporate sustainability while contributing to long-term economic value. It further discusses the opportunities created through digital adoption, including improved regulatory compliance, supply chain transparency, responsible investment, and enhanced organizational resilience, alongside challenges such as cybersecurity threats, high implementation costs, shortage of digital competencies, and evolving regulatory requirements. The chapter concludes that organizations adopting an integrated approach toward digital transformation and ESG are better positioned to achieve sustainable competitive advantage, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and improve long-term financial performance in an increasingly dynamic business environment.
